Her groundbreaking new book Baby Hunger: The New Battle for Motherhood is making big headlines on both sides of the Atlantic, and reveals some startling statistics about career choices and fertility. The Queen Mother - a friend remembered

Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother, died on Saturday 30 March 2002 at the age of 101. The Cambridge City Campus's Vice Chancellor, Professor Sir Alec Broers, has paid tribute to her:
"A dear friend of the University, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother, will be sadly missed. Her contributions were much valued and we send our sincere condolences to her family".
